About Kalakrishti Foundation
One of the premier and prestigious institutions whose motto is to preserve, promote and propagate art particularly Indian classical dance & drama. It was established by Mrs. L. Dutta on 22 may 2005. Our focus is to create awareness and to impart methodical training of dance amongst youth and children. In today’s fast lifestyle we are forgetting our moral, social and ethical values. Being a part of the society, Kalakrishti realises its commitment to impart the effective aesthetic, artistic and moral aspect of dance.
Throughout our history dance has served many diversified purposes all of which are evident today, also dance is perceived as a physical activity, popular entertainment and art form. A positive attitude towards dance is demonstrated by every staff member of the institute. Kalakrishti is continuously proving itself through regular assessment, discussions and analysis of student’s own work and to expand their horizon. It is the primary aim of Kalakrishti to safeguard India’s vibrant culture and spread it through performing arts in an impeccable manner.
The main motive behind setting up of Kalakrishti is to spread the vibrant national culture and heritage across the globe.
Since dance is the most beautiful reflection of ideas and visualisation, it becomes the spectacular medium of creating a mane of love and care for the rich heritage. The foundation of every individual needs to be in harmony with the spiritual growth so one needs to be highly intellectual and dedicated to the task that leads towards ultimate realisation of the goals and Kalakrishti has been the main driving force behind the presentation and promotion of ethics and values pertaining to religious progress of the nation.discussions and analysis of student’s own work and to expand their horizon.
