Amrit Udyan, often hailed as the soul of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, is a true testament to nature's artistry. As you meander through the garden's pathways, you will be greeted by a kaleidoscope of over 150 varieties of roses, tulips, Asiatic lilies, daffodils, and countless other ornamental flowers. Each petal seems to radiate its own unique hue, blending together in a harmonious symphony of colors that is simply awe-inspiring.

But Amrit Udyan is not just a treat for the adults; it is also a wonderland for kids. The garden boasts a specially curated space for children called "Bal Vatika," where little ones can embark on a whimsical journey through the story of a 225-year-old Sheesham tree. February 2nd to March 31st, 2024

The gates of Amrit Udyan welcome visitors from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the last entry at 4:00 PM. For those planning a visit, the entry is from Gate No. 35 of the Rashtrapati Bhavan, near North Avenue.

Note that the Udyan is closed on all Mondays for maintenance and on Holi, March 25th, 2024, for a Gazetted Holiday.

Shuttle Bus Service and Special Visitations

To enhance the visitor experience, a Shuttle Bus service is available at the Central Secretariat. Additionally, on four special days—22nd February, 23rd February, 1st March, and 5th March, 2024—the Udyan will be open exclusively for select diverse groups.
